Training and Coaching

Starlight has trained over a thousand individuals and helped launch numerous outreach ministries, including helping four churches start their own regular nights of homeless outreach!

Throughout all its program activities Starlight empowers the Church and others to respond to the needs of those who are homeless, but we also provide bi-monthly trainings on engaging individuals who are homeless and offer intensive coaching to groups starting their own outreach efforts.

Topics include substance abuse, mental health issues, youth outreach, relational ministry, and breaking stereotypes around homelessness. Starlight also trains small groups from churches to do effective relational outreach to people who are homeless.
