Starlight Ministries
Our mission is to apply God’s victory over homelessness
by serving adults and youth on the streets of Boston and Cambridge
and building the capacity of churches and individuals to do the same.
- Starlight provides approximately 5,000 meals, 8,000 articles of clothing, and 2,000 blankets at our nightly van outreaches each year.
- Starlight serves approximately 700 different individuals each year.
- Since its inception Starlight has trained over 1,000 individuals on issues related to homelessness, including training staff from other faith-based organizations and churches.
- Starlight involves numerous volunteers from local churches. Each week, volunteers provide approximately 90-100 hours of service.
