Mission

The Vitality Project seeks to strengthen the systems which help prepare churches for sustained revival and renewal, as we understand and apply what we are learning about the long-term growth dynamics of Christianity in Boston, New England and the world.

About the Vitality Project

There have been many revivals and awakenings in New England, the United States, and around the world upon which we can reflect and from which we can learn.

The Vitality Project researches revivals to inform and encourage the church to act in alignment with what God is doing now and prepare us to receive what He might do tomorrow.

Recognizing the deep need for transformation in the church, the public square, and the world, our focus on revival has led us to recognize:

  • the power of corporate prayer movements
  • the strategic value of urban networking and collaboration
  • the need to train and educate in the safe environment of a learning community, and
  • the unique opportunity of media to enhance prayer movements, urban networking, training and develop innovative ways to share the gospel

Therefore, the Vitality Project focuses on four areas:
