We are seeking an Executive Assistant & Office Coordinator who brings order to complexity, keeps priorities moving, and helps create a warm, connected workplace.

You love checklists, clear systems, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You’re not just detail-oriented — you’re intuitive and relational, quick to spot where extra support or encouragement is needed. You bring energy and steadiness behind the scenes, helping leadership and staff stay organized, connected, and focused on the mission.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Executive Director, coordinating office rhythms, managing internal operations, and strengthening the everyday life of our team.

●  Track important organizational deadlines and rhythms, ensuring reminders and follow-ups are sent as needed.

●  Handle administrative tasks such as processing invoices, updating spreadsheets and trackers, managing mail and messages, and maintaining organized files and records.

Office Coordination & Staff Culture Support

●  Prepare meeting and event spaces, including tech setup, room readiness, and hospitality logistics.

●  Maintain a clean, well-stocked office environment, including kitchen and shared spaces.

●  Coordinate internal communications and staff culture activities (e.g., staff lunches, celebrations, team outings), partnering closely with the Operations Manager.

●  Greet visitors, manage shared spaces, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for staff, guests, and partners.

SKILLS, QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE

●  Proven experience in administrative support, executive assistance, or office management roles (nonprofit experience a plus).

●  Outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.

●  Ability to manage complex calendars and prioritize tasks effectively.

●  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and openness to learning new tools (such as Otter, Gamma, Miro, ChatGPT).

●  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm and professional tone.

●  Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and move projects forward without constant direction.

●  High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

●  Comfort working collaboratively with diverse teams and navigating a hybrid workplace environment.

CRITICAL QUALITIES

●  Mature Christian faith as defined by being an active member of a local church, agreeing with the Apostles Creed, and displaying the life of a Christian leader as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-10.

●  Passion for EGC’s principles and deep commitment to EGC's mission of empowering the Church and addressing community needs.

●  Displays cultural, gender, religious, racial, nationality, ability, and age sensitivity and adaptability.
